Ah, Valentine's Day. Full of flowers and candy and love and merriment. Well, for me it was all of that plus sitting in the same chair for like 3 hours. I went to Robby's rehearsal for Mr. Plano East and it went ungodly long. It took them forever to get set up between scenes, and then I was getting very annoyed by the people who were running it. They were so nitpicky about everything. "Do those pillars look okay?" "Well, why don't we move it about an inch to the left and turn the flowerpot around. I like the way it looks on the other side better." Arg, who cares? No one in the audience is going to be paying attention to which way the flowers are facing anyways.
I had fun watching the talent portions though, even though some of them were just scary. Here's what everyone did, from what I can remember: Robby played piano, Sco played guitar, 3 guys lip-synced (sp?) to "I Want It That Way", a guy named Chris played guitar with drums rocking out behind him, someone did sign language to "My Life, My Love, My All", H played saxomaphone, some guys lip-synced to "Bohemian Raphodsy" (dressed up like the guys from Wayne's World), a guy sang some song about love that I can never remember the title, someome else sang "I Need You Tonight" by Nick Carter....that's pretty much all I can think of right now. I'm probably forgetting someone. Oh well. You get the idea. There was some good stuff and some strange stuff.
School was okay, because I did nothing all day except in algebra II. We learned some strange lesson about using quadratic methods to solve a problem on non-quadratic equations. I was hopelessly lost. I got alot of candy though, so that made up for it. And I got to lay on a table and read "A Tale Of Two Cities" during second period. I was so behind on that. Every time I read that book I thank God that they're aren't alot of people like Jerry Cruncher in this world. If you've read the book, you'll know what I mean.

Woo! Robby's got a Mr. Plano East competition on Saturday and of course I'm going. I'm probably not going to see him on Friday, so I think we're exchanging Valentine's Day gifts after the competition. I really have no idea who else is running in this thing, but I know Robby has a chance. He's so charismatic and entertaining and talented. Who couldn't like him? Well, then's there's always Katie who says her boyfriend is better than mine. Her "boyfriend", by the way, is Justin Timberlake. So, every time she says something about her bf having better abs or anyting equally as dumb, I can always fire back "I've actually talked to mine". Despite the annoyance it poses, Katie can sometimes be pretty funny with her stories and excuses that involve Justin. ("Yeah, he told me he can't come to the concert because he's going to fly to New York and have lunch with Carson Daly.")
I'm gonna write more later but right now I gotta get back to the books. Big history test tomorrow.

Random-website-promotion-out-of-boredom time:
I found this really cool site that I think everyone should check out. Its called Visual Paradox and the address is http://www.visualparadox.com. I use this site to get all my desktop backgrounds, because most of the pictures on there are just beautiful. This is the one I'm using as my background as of now:
.
Its such an awesome picture. Whoever makes these is somewhat of a genious.

Well, I've decided to move. uJournal was just being crappy to me. I would type really long entries and then they wouldn't post and I would lose them forever. That's just really frustrating. I've decided to spite them and move here. Not like they really care, but oh well. Making a statement is sometimes just the thought that counts. This is one of those times. My old journal is here: http://www.ujournal.org/users/itsadrumthing. Go there to get a little background info on what's been going on in my interesting (er, sort of) and crazy life.
